From a day in January when the ice fell from the skies and gave everything a coating that glistened like diamonds in the stark sunlight.

I walked through the Centennial Park Prairie Grass Trail portion of Centennial Park, and tried to capture the special scenes as they unfolded before my every step. I’m glad I was wearing my sunglasses, as the reflection of that bright afternoon sun was spectacular.

We had another inch or so of snow today. I hope there’s no ice falling in the days that winter has left.
