Karen and I on the set of ABC’s This Week, which is broadcast from this studio at the Newseum in Washington, DC.
The capitol building is in the background. That’s no camera trick, it’s the real capitol building. The studio hangs out over the sidewalk, giving a nice backdrop for a political talk show.
The tour guide asked if we would like our picture taken. Of course, we said yes. She handed me the mike (Karen got her turn when her camera was used for the 2nd shot), and told me to act like I was asking a tough question. We both look like we’re ready to growl at each other!
I guess nearly 34 years of wedded bliss can bring out some real emotion upon request.
