Karen came in after a walk among her flowers and plants and excitedly asked that I go out and photograph this Zinnia flower, just blossoming.

Of course, said I, I’d be happy to.

What made it a special moment, was the sunset light that was just making it’s last mark on the plant. The flower had some sunlight on it, and the green leaves were glowing.

Note to self: I should never say no to Karen when she’s inspired.
