Canopy of Green

Sometimes it seems that the only thing that’s green are the trees.

Even they are suffering with this prolonged drought.

I love the pattern of bark on this tree. It stands among the thousands of trees in Lincoln Memorial Garden on the shore of Lake Springfield.

One of my favorite places to walk and relax.
