“If is stare and stay still long enough, he won’t find me” The thought of one cat, snuggled into the flower box by our front door, looking like it was being invisible.
Smokey finds the oddest places to hang out.
At night, she will, after an evening of studiously ignoring me, jump in bed and disparately beg to be comforted with petting and stroking of her sleek fur. There are times, when I’ll stretch out my arm and find her settled in behind Karen’s pillow, in a space that defies the concept of comfort, all stretched out and relaxed. I could go on, and on, and on. But I won’t. Use your imagination.
Cats are fun creatures to have around as long as you are tolerant of their behaviors, which you will have to resign to never attempting to alter or shape to your liking. Just grin and bear it.
Once Smokey realized that I was the object of interest, she got up, stretched and pounced away. I was lucky to get one good frame.
There will be lots more opportunities to get an interesting image of this very interesting feline.
