Sisters, enjoying the laughter of being in the spotlight in Savannah, Georgia.
My loving bride, my Karen Sue, invited her sister Lisa to escape from motherhood and full time school for a few days, and join us this past March in Hilton Head, South Carolina. We picked Lisa up at the Savannah/Hilton Head airport, and enjoyed the afternoon and evening in Savannah. It’s about an hour from Hilton Head Island, and a popular place to visit.
We spent a fun evening having drinks at the bar on top of the Bohemian Hotel, with an open air view of the river and riverfront. For dinner, we moved downstairs to the likewise open air restaurant, that looked directly out on the river.
Many laughs and a good meal later, we headed out to make our way to our place on Hilton Head Island. The lights adorn the front of the hotel caught my eye, along with dome of City Hall and other lighted edifices in the background. Beyond the railing is an alleyway that descends to the river front level. It’s paved with huge round cobblestones.
I asked and they consented to being the subject of my camera.
I caught the joy of being sisters.

Nice! As long as we’ve been down here, I don’t think we’ve spent the night in Savannah once. Gotta do that more often; looks beautiful!
Thanks Jeremy. Congrats on the new home. Savannah is full of fun and history. Highly recommended.
