A bit of nature’s fireworks as a substitute on this very hot holiday eve.

Tomorrow is the celebration of Independence in the United States, known as Independence Day or the Fourth of July. Celebrations typically include a display of fireworks. Some groups and towns started their fireworks displays this past weekend, others will have them tomorrow night.

This image of a coleus plant in full spread, reminds me of a colorful fireworks burst in the sky.

The coleus seem to be able to handle the heat without wilting. Just a bit of watering and it stays looking bright and beautiful.
