The snow melted today. As it should with the temperatures up to 63F. Back to the cold 30′s tomorrow.

Today, I wanted some color.

I delved into my Las Cruces, New Mexico set for some floral inspiration.

The many shades of purple are among my favorite colors. That, plus the focus on the tiny stamen of the interior of the flower blossom, brought this one to my attention.

Some great color here. A nice antidote for mid-winter.
