The lone witness to the sunrise on the Atlantic Ocean gives me a perspective on how grand and expansive are the sea and skies.
Up early to catch another sunrise while walking on the beach. There’s never too many other folks out there when we’re down for a week’s visit. Many times it seems that the light show and gentle rolling surf that washes the beach is there just for us.
It’s a good time for reflection.
Not every day gives as grand a sunrise as this. That’s what makes it all the more delightful to be there.
Taking this photograph gives me a bit of that awe and wonder that I had that day. It makes for a nice counterpoint to the current winds of Winter.
Almost beatific in its blend of color, sky, sea and shore-based soul. It seems too perfect to have been taken by a human.
A stroll on the beach at sunrise, yields great images, at times. Being there at the right time, is the key. =)
