Two kitties in a row. Imagine that.

This is Sissy. She was busy grooming herself while she reclined in one of Karen’s quilted bags that lay on her favorite sofa in the sun room. That the bag and the fabric of the sofa were a perfect match was a happy accident that I took advantage of. I took a couple of her licking her paw and cleaning her ears, when her eye caught either a bird or a squirrel in the tree right outside the windows.

I think of the sun room and that tree as the cats television. A way to keep entertained throughout the days and as long as the sun is out.

Here you can see the lovely shade of green that her eyes have. So intense is her stare, it makes her striped pattern seem all the more big-cat-like. Her fur has a lovely and soft feel that I can almost sense in the way the light is falling on her.

They don’t ask for much and return our kindnesses and shelter with play, fun and a real companionship that makes for a great partnership.
