This was too cute to pass up. As soon as I saw it, I grabbed my pocket camera and fired off two quick frames.

Sissy & Smokey, sharing the comfy chair that has a new seasonal throw over it. If I were to hazard a guess, Sissy was there first, and Smokey smooshed her over to grab the other corner. Smokey’s that way.

Not every photograph has to be a carefully planned composition. In fact some of the best memories are captured spontaneously, such as this. Since I seldom see these two snuggling together, this had to be a quick grab. Now I’ve got the image to smile over, days and years from now.

I’m chuckling even as I type this.
