Penning Photography Daily

Permission was requested and granted by my niece, Monica, allowing me to take some candid photographs of her. She has a Mona Lisa smile here, and a great pair of twinkling eyes. I couldn’t resist using this for today’s image.

I was over to grab a family portrait with Monica, Matt, Cora & Layla. Afterwards, I enjoyed time catching up and talking about future plans with Matt & Monica, and cuddling, laughing and being a great, Great Uncle Matt to Cora & Layla.

I love my family, the whole big extended bunch that we are. I’ve not visited with these folks for a while, more than a year it seems. I was happy to be asked to do a quick turnaround portrait session. It gave me a chance to be an uncle once more, and remind all of us that we have things in common and enjoy sharing time together.

I even got to see the pig that tries to crawl away from you and farts! What more could an uncle ask for.
