Green palm leaves, like giant hands lifted up to the sunlight shining down through the trees above. The green and yellow blades were glowing, and that’s what grabbed me and had me stop and get this view.

When I’m out exploring new space, even old, familiar places, I try to keep my eyes open and my head & heart open to sights normally passed by. The fleeting light and shadows that seem ordinary can be wonderful. I simply need to stop and see.

I’ve been fascinated by the glowing palm fronds for years.

This time, I got the elusive glow of sunshine on those gorgeous green leaves that I kept seeing.

Persistence and pausing to see, paid dividends today.
