Pretty good sunset for the first one on a week’s vacation.

Karen & I, along with our son Chris & his bride, Jennie, sharing a condo. So far, so good.

See the two bright spots on the ocean horizon in the middle of the frame? Container ships, we presume, due to their high profile.

We went out to the grocery store before sunset, and came home right after sunset. I let them off and parked the car. When I came into the house, I was going to herd them all onto the deck, to enjoy the light show. The place was empty. They were already out there, oohing and aahing. =)

I’m planning on more oohs and aahs as the days slowly unfold.

Not to worry, I’ll have my cameras at hand, to capture the beauty of nature, and the frequent ear-to-ear grins that I find on our faces.
