My camera was in the passenger seat of my car, set to take three exposures in sequence, with added exposure and minus exposure as well as at a normal exposure. I was set up that way to combine them into a high dynamic range photo.
FYI – Ya don’t do that for something that’s moving. Except I did.
I could not pass up that sky without grabbing me some of it with my camera.
I knew that my camera wasn’t set up right to get it perfect with me travelling at 55 miles per hour. I didn’t let that stop me. I lowered my window and fired off a sequence in-between light poles. I didn’t have much time. In fact I had to get it all in within two seconds or less. I made it.
Nope, it’s not perfect by any means, but I have that sky now. I can recall vividly the excitement of seeing the pattern of those wispy clouds against the palette of blues.
Good enough for me.
