Full of energy and intelligence, Joey here waits on me to make the next move.
Head cocked to the side, with that look as if saying: “What are you up to now?” Or more likely, wondering if I had a treat in my hand. Joey is very food motivated. Very obedient, but the morsel better be there as a reward.
When left to his own inner motivations, Joey is the shepherd of the yard and the house. Running fast as lightning around the perimeter of the property, keeping pace with the distant cars that occasionally pass by or just checking his domain. Ever watchful and ready to put back into proper order any thing or one that should go outside his idea of the way things should be. He’s a Shetland Sheepdog and shepherding is his instinct.
I’ll be back one day, to grab some more of this delightful dog. Joey may be more used to me and my camera when I come back. His curiosity was at a peak when I was pointing my camera’s lens his way.
Just taking your picture, Sir Joey.
