These flowers touched something deep inside that reminded me of the qualities of time. The fresh blooms contrast nicely with those ready to cast off their leaves to nourish the next generation.

Time flows down the path of life, at times like a trickle, and other times like a flood. Most of us experience the moments of time as if it were an endless commodity. Taking in the moment to cherish the richness of life takes intent and energy. Too often the important flies by without notice.

A reminder that the sands in the hourglass are limited, and the quantity for each of us is unknown.
