Every evening brings a sunset.

Not all sunsets are stunning in their beauty, at least as seen through my eyes.

I like sunsets that have clouds. The clouds give the sun some great light to use to paint the palette of colors upon. A sunset without clouds can be spectacular, but I find more interest in a bit or a lot of clouds at sunset.

Here, the gold and magenta is splashing out from the sun onto the multiple layers of clouds. It looks like some of the darker clouds could open up with rain. The brilliant orange of the setting sun is playing hide and seek with these dark clouds.

Taking the time to stop and enjoy the sunset, I lingered as the play of light danced on the clouds at sunset.

It was well worth my time.

Now I have a memory, captured in this photograph, to recall the beauty that being there filled me with wonder and delight.
