Cloud Field

A beautiful sunset sky. That kind of big sky that grabs me and won’t let go.

The spreading wings of purple-tinged clouds against a backdrop of gorgeous blue and over a lush green field of growing crops.

That’s what had me stopping at sunset, over a year ago, to commit this to memory. My own memory and the better, and more long lasting memory of a photograph.

Yes, another one pulled from the past, but that’s the product of hosting family for much of the past week. I’ve taken photographs, but mostly of family. It was nice to have a large catalog of memories to pull this previously overlooked wonder from. My son, after I was telling him that it was time again to increase my storage space for photographs, advised me to pitch old ones to re-claim and reuse the space. Nope, not me. I know that if I did so, I’d be tossing ones such as this.

Time is precious. I cannot save everything, but I can save some memories that bring me joy.
