I’m so glad that Karen is an early riser.

This was taken from the balcony of our condo this morning. Karen was getting up early to go to an exercise class. At first she was sad that it was so overcast, and it has remained that way, plus some rain, for much of the day. Then she saw the glow on the horizon. She grabbed the Panasonic LX3 and stood watch, looking for the best moment.

I’d say that she got a good one today!

The lone figure in the lower right of the frame, out on the beach for a morning stroll, and that awe inspiring glow of the sun on the clouds. Add the reflection on the beach and it’s a perfect memory of the majesty of sunrise.

So, while I was in dreamland, my lovely and talented bride was pursuing light. Thank you, dear Karen, for taking up the slack for me.
