The sky was full of sun and clouds today.
I had my camera out and ready while running errands.
As I pulled into the grocery store parking lot. The sun, partially obscured by clouds struck me and called to me. I rolled down my window and cranked up the f-stop.
Looking before and behind me, there were no cars coming or going in the parking lot. I aimed and focused, capturing just one frame as I heard a honking horn. I looked up and saw two cars behind me and one in front. They appeared in the few seconds that I was composing my shot.
Just goes to illustrate what I’ve learned: everything changes from one moment to the next. The special light was gone, and if I had waited until I parked my car, I would have missed it.
Grab the light as it comes into your view. The miracle of the moment is best savored as it flows through your life.
