My great-nephew Charlie, and his mother Katherine, on his First Communion day, opening gifts at a family gathering.

I love how Karen captured the tableau of a mother helping but letting her son be in the spotlight. The strong back lighting compliments the two of them, while also creating soft light on their faces. The foreground flowers adds a nice touch.
