I called and left a message with my dear bride, Karen Sue, at her office late in the day: “Are you free for dinner?”

I didn’t hear back from Karen before I left work. I had some errands to perform. I was still hopeful that I would hear from her.

After my last errand, i headed home, thinking that it would be another long night for her at work, and we would miss out on dinner together. As I was nearing my last major intersection, Karen called and asked where to meet!

We chose our favorite for Asian food, Little Saigon on Wabash.

I made it there about 15 minutes earlier than Karen, and enjoyed the time to catch up on news, and Twitter folks.

After our meal was done, and Karen was enjoying the last of her plum wine, I thought of using the mirror on the wall for this photo.

Karen has a puzzled look about her, as she wasn’t sure why I was taking a picture of the mirror. =)
