Light Stripes

Driving out of Lowe’s parking lot, I spied this building with distinctive downward pointing lights.

I thought it might make an interesting photograph.

I fired off two frames, the first one being a bit crooked, the second a better one.

In Lightroom, I started playing with tint and contrast, and the other adjustment sliders, to get this result.

You can’t see the roof line, but you can tell where it is by the position of the lights. I saw them as stripes of light, bringing interest to an otherwise plain building.

  1. Creative.. you took the ordinary and saw it in an extraordinary light.. the door on the lower right sets off nicely from the rest of the piece.
