Our view of television-land is through this 9 inch set, the only one in our home.

For about 5 years now, we’ve only had this one set.

We’ve become accustomed to it.

After our son went off to college, the 27 inch set we had in our basement family room gave up. We never replaced it.

I had bought this portable set for Karen to use to show her exercise DVDs. It didn’t get used much (Karen really gets plenty of exercise just walking alll day at her work – really).

We started to use it when we got the hankerin’ for some tube. For a while, we would use it every night, either watching old comedy shows on DVD or Home & Garden TV or The Food Network or History channel.

It gradually has been used less and less, sometimes not getting turned on for a week or more at a time.

We read, I seek out information on the web, or I’m immersed in my photography business. Sometimes, we even have conversations!

Lately, on hearing the wonders of HDTV and seeing the improvements in picture quality of the newest sets, I’ve gotten an itch for a new, larger set. Then, I get over it. =)

We’re just being ourselves, not saying what we do is better or worse than anyone else.

Just giving you a peek into a small part of our lives.
