The sunlight was difused by the clouds when I first had the idea for this self portrait.
By the time I was set up, the clouds were gone and the light was streaming in.
After a couple of tries, I got a card to read in my hand, which acted as a bounce to reflect the light back onto my face. Just enough to give it definition.
The sunlight was definitely highlighting my white hair.
A study of me, reading and hoping for a decent self portrait. Enjoying the sunlight regardless of the outcome.
