Birthday Present Surprise!

I popped over to wish my sister Trish a happy birthday and deliver a special present tonight.

She’s a Kindergarten teacher, that’s for children approximately 5 years of age. She’s works long hours to help open their minds to learning. I know she loves her career deeply and the children reap the rewards of that dedication.

Trish had told me recently of her yearly project to send home a recording of each child early in the year. She’s been using cassettes for years, and wondered how to switch to the digital age. I was glad she asked me as it gave me the perfect opportunity to give her a birthday gift which would be used.

I bought her a digital recorder, which can be plugged into her computer and the files written to CD.

I showed her the basics and how to burn a cd of the files. We got the giggles doing silly voices on the test recordings (I admit that it was me doing most of the silly voices).

I love the look of happiness and surprise on Trish’s face.
