From nearly a year ago.
I took a self portrait at this location last September. I was looking for a likely candidate for a photo of the day and found this one laying dormant on my drive.
That’s one advantage of never deleting photos. I have an ever growing mine of photos to use for a photo of the day. A second look turns up overlooked beauty.
This sunset was taken near Farmingdale, Illinois. Smack in the middle of a wide expanse of corn and soybean fields, there is this set of small grain storage bins.
I’m not sure what the farm tractor was doing with the scoop on the front. The grain auger, I know is used to load the bins. It all makes for interest against that beautiful sunset sky.
