From the archives – November 2007 vacation to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Our last night on the island, we went to the beach for some sunset beach self portraits.

Karen loves the beach grass, and had this one first on our list.

I put the flash on the ground, pointing up at the two of us. I was balancing the light of the sunset with the flash.

When I showed this one to Karen tonight, she said immediately: “I want a print!” I fulfilled my bride’s wish and made one to put up in my office as well.
