I headed out for the sunset tonight. I decided to set up a remote flash to practice balancing light.
I arrived with about 30 minutes to spare before sunset. Set up my lightstand and remote switches for the camera and flash.
Then I started playing and tweaking.
In this one, the camera was having a bit of focusing trouble, as I have it stopped down to quite a small aperture. I put up my hand for a focus point, and pulled it out of the frame when I thought I had a good lock on focus.
I didn’t pull it fast enough, and my finger was too quick on the shutter release.
So, I end up with an interesting photo of me saying “Howdy!”
I like the sunset, with it’s rays shooting out. Definitely interesting.
