Some grass, going to seed in our backyard.
I put on my deliciously sharp zoom, the Sigma 17-70mm which also has a macro capability. Dial the aperture to a wide-open f2.8 to get some thin Depth of Field (narrow focus).
I love the sunshine on the tails against the deep evergreen trees in the background. The sky & clouds are a wonderful added bonus.
I took a fifteen minute stroll around the backyard. In return, I found this scene. Nice of Nature to present it to me. I merely had to open my eyes to see.
What a delicate and wistful composition. Almost dreamlike. Nature at its best, captured in the moment.
