My son Chris came over tonight as his bride attended a movie with friends and family. The movie was not on his hit list and he had some things to discuss with me.
We had a great time talking about the photography business we on work together, and a wide ranging list of topics. I enjoyed the evening as did Chris, I’m sure.
As he was heading out, I remarked that I was going out to get the daily photos, one of me and one of general interest, as is my habit and self commitment. Chris thought to use his motorcycle as one of the scenes.
Brilliant!
We tried several poses, and then Chris said – how about trying a panning, trailing curtain flash exposure? Again, Brilliant idea!
It took a few tries, but this one turned out quite well.
I gave it a cross process treatment to make the colors pop with interest. The sunset colors pushed me in that direction, and I went with my instincts.
Turned out well, I think!
