Outside my front door, this flower called me.
First it reminded me that on my list of things to do was to water it and the other flowers, in my bride’s absence (Karen’s on a business trip to Chicago).
After I dutifully doused the flowers with water, I noticed the drops. Ah-Ha! Photo opportunity.
Fortunately I had my Sigma 17-70mm macro already mounted on the camera. Just a matter of focus, compose and snap.
A bit of floral goodness on this very hot and humid day.
