A quick one today.
Took me a bit of doing to get it right.
I’m standing about 10 feet behind my car. I’ve got the Tamron 70-300mm zoom on my Pentak K20D. I’ve turned the car mirror as far out as it can go, so as to be able to sight my face.
I used the live view feature of the K20D to get the framing correct. With that help, I was able to get my eyes above the viewfinder. I dialed in the focus manually through the viewfinder, then carefully turned on live view and tried to keep the focus while I moved my eyes above the camera.
Let’s just say there’s a couple of frames left on the cutting room floor. =)
This just popped into my head as I pulled into the driveway.
I like those moments of inspiration.
