I have a thing for clouds, it seems.
This day has had a wide range of them, from storm clouds to wispy nothings and everything in-between.
I took this while waiting while my Karen Sue was doing a quick errand. I wait better outside than in. =)
Since I have been carrying a smaller “messenger-style” of bag for my camera and a few lenses, etc., I don’t usually carry a long telephoto. I made do with my 17-70mm Sigma, but longed for my Tamron 70-300mm.
I really wanted to get close to those clouds.
Perhaps it’s why I’ve always harbored a desire to learn to fly aircraft.

Another glorious shot.. you have a great eye for clouds, especially the sharp focus on the ‘boiling’ updraft cumulus clouds, builing into a possible thunderhead. And the stunning blue sky… what a sight.
