I was looking for a photo to take, and noticed the lights were on on the lamp-posts in one area of the parking lot.
Unusual, especially because it was a bright, sunny afternoon.
I saw the possibilities and chose this pose.
I put my camera on a 2 second delay and set the exposure. I placed my camera, lens pointed up on the edge of the concrete ledge into which the lamp-poste was set.
Back out of the frame, and hope the camera doesn’t fall. It didn’t, and here you are.
The ordinary as seen from an extraordinary viewpoint.
