We were celebrating a family gathering at my brother-in-law Tom’s home. I joined Conor in the family room while the rest of the folks sat at the kitchen table, continuing the lively conversation.

Conor is a lad of few words, with me at least. He was watching television. I and the tv must have been too much for him, he left after a short while.

Me, I stayed and became absorbed in the tv show. I seldom do that these days, I usually have photo projects going or catching up on countless online resources of information and enlightenment.

After a while, I grabbed my camera, and worked on learning more about my newest lens.

This is the result of that exercise.
