I went out after supper in search of a good self portrait location

The clouds were looking inviting so I went to one of my favorite spaces. It’s a paved set of roads with nothing built yet.

I shared my spot with someone out for a run. I hope I didn’t spook them as I pulled up and took out my tripod, etc.

Soon it was just me and the spectacular light show.

I took several variations, some including a fill flash, but this one, without the flash grabbed me. The flash seemed to take away from the intimacy of Nature and me.

I took some looking at the camera but this one, with me just enjoying the sunset pleases me.
