Soon this church will be closed for a year long restoration project.

You can see what part of a restored ceiling will look like in the upper right part of the frame.

The building was built in 1929, and has not seen a major face-lift since.

I tried to get inside earlier in the afternoon, but there was another event occurring. I came back a couple hours later and caught it mostly empty.

I took several shots, some vertical as well as in this one, horizontal. I liked the view of the horizontal better. It seems less intimidating and more welcoming.

I’ll come back after the restoration is complete to do an “after” photo for comparison.
