I called my bride Karen after work today, and asked if she would go out with me to dinner.

I didn’t have long to wait for her answer! =)

We went to one of our favorite local restaurants: Catie Girl. It’s located in a former hotel – The Saint Nicholas. Great food that’s an eclectic mix not usually found in Central Illinois. My salad had fresh mozzarella cheese, kalamata olives, toasted bread croûtons, artichoke hearts, and was marinated in a very delicious dressing overnight. Y-U-M!

The best part was being with my Karen Sue. We talked, laughed, and took this photo and the other one of my two photos of the day.

I like how our simple dress and color is contrasting to the bright and busy background. Bonus!
