Rainy Perspective

Rain drops on my window, make me………. pull out my camera.

My Sigma 17-70mm lens has a very close focus. Roughly about an inch in front of the lens, I can still focus. Handy for this photo.

I noticed the lens effect of the water drops on my windows.

I had to take off the lens hood to get close as I wanted. =)

You can see the background trees in focus through each drop, the center drop being sharpest.

It’s always fun to see things from a different perspective.

Very nice… like bubbles in a glass of champange.. and apparent depth of field would indicate several large drops in the foreground and others in slight off-focus, giving the impression of bubbles in a container of fluid. Fascinating.
