Just my hand, the left one, resting on my right thigh.

I noticed my hand, while thinking of what I could come up with for a self portrait.

Why not?

The hard part was working it in post processing. I almost just left it as taken in camera. Almost.

I wanted to emphasize the skin texture and the underlying structure of that which brings my hand to life, to movement.

Waiting for the shutter to snap, before moving and helping the rest of me get going.
