Waiting for the Right Photograph

I was testing out some feature of my camera when I noticed the light.

The Golden Hour – the hour before sunset and after sunrise, when the angle of sunlight is most low on the horizon. Perfect light for many subjects.

This picture frame is sitting on our sunroom table, just waiting for a photograph to make it’s home inside. I think Karen has it out, hinting at wanting a photo print to place in it. My bride prefers her images in tangible form. Feel for her, as this is a constant source of consternation for us both. I’d be in the poor house (if there were still such a thing) if I went off and printed every photo I’ve taken. So, the multitude of choices, leaves this frame still empty.

Theres much to love about photographs, but they must be viewed in order to be cherished.

Some day, I want to put this daily photo stream into yearly volumes.

Someday, my prints will come, is what Karen says. =)
