The sun was shining bright, through the bare tree branches.

I stopped down my lens to f32, and pointed in the general direction of the sun. I did not want to look at it through the viewfinder. I like my eyes too much.

I like how this almost looks like a night moon.

I fiddled around with the color, contrast and sharpened it.

Soon the green leaves will be back on the trees, beginning the cycle of life for the Northern Hemisphere.

As my friends in Australia like to remind me, they are heading to Autumn while we head to Spring.

And the world keeps spinning, and the sun shining.
