I went chasing the sunset again tonight.

The sun was doing a dance with clouds and it caught my eye.

There was a beautiful scene where the sun was a nice orange-yellow color, low on the horizon, and in a narrow band of clear sky in-between dense clouds.

I headed for my new sunset perch, but saw the sun dip behind the dense cloud below before I made it there. I can recall it in my mind, but do not have it’s portrait.

I was presented with other interesting sunset scenes with a deep orange ball of sun slipping into the ground of the horizon. I got those recorded.

After the sun set, I stayed to see what cloud painting would occur, as it often does, after full sun set.

As I was waiting, I caught sight of this jet, heading in for a landing at our airport.

With the sunset sky as a backdrop, it is a nice capture for my photo of the day.

The other sunsets I caught, will wait for another day. =)
