It’s a happy mistake.

I was tinkering with a 3 flash setup and two of the three misfired.

The only flash going off in this is the one on the backdrop, which was an CTO gelled flash.

I took others, but I liked my expression best in this one. Go figure.

So instead of deleting it. I used it.

I increased the exposure, added a touch of fill, desaturated it – but left some hint of color. Then I sharpened it a bit and smudged out some of the grain from the overexposure.

I sure wouldn’t use it normally, but I like the uniqueness it brings.
