My photography bag, at the ready in my car.
I’m glad it’s black. It’s a good camouflage color for dark spaces like behind my seat on the floor.
I never leave it in the car unless it’s in the trunk, or behind the seat with the plain black face pointing up – if I have to make a quick stop somewhere.
Otherwise, it’s over my shoulder, at the ready.
Occasionally I’ll put it in the trunk if I’m going to be away for a while (hour or so), the temperature is moderate, and I am going someplace where I really can’t get away with carrying it on my shoulder. A rare event.
It contains: four lenses and one on the camera body; flash, flash diffuser, cleaning cloth, batteries (2 spares), 2 sets of spare flash batteries, four gels for modifying the flash, wireless remote flash trigger set, wireless remote shutter trigger set, hex key set for tightening or loosening gear screws, small hardened screwdriver set for quick repairs, spare batteries for wireless remotes, 20+gb of SD/SDHC digital media, card reader, pop-up flash diffuser, pop-up flash bouncer, camera battery charger.
Now that I’ve listed this, I realize that I need to get a flash battery charger in there somewhere.
I also forgot to mention the gorillapod, hooked through one of the handy and hardy loops on the outside of the bag.
Like my camera, this bag has features which I’ve yet to utilize or master.
So much to learn and do, so little time.
I’m having fun doing and learning, though. =)
