I was out on assignment for a commercial photo this afternoon.
In the midst of it, I realized the nice opportunity for a self portrait.
I had my camera on a monopod, with a wireless shutter release attached.
I was using that set up so I could get photos of a building from a higher perspective than street level.
For this self portrait, I focused on my image in the showroom window, and slowed the shutter so I would expose correctly. This blew out the window frame, the bricks of the building and the sidewalk.
I fiddled with it in Lightroom, mostly just cropping and punching up the saturation a bit.
Fun stuff!
Me and my camera on a stick.
