Just an exercise in using a florescent light fixture to take a portrait.

A self portrait.

Hand-held at arm’s length.

I wanted to post the color version, and I might still do so. I liked the white-balance I was able to achieve.

This black & white conversion is more interesting to me.

ISO 800, in case you’re interested.

Just using Lightroom.

I thought about going out into the snow for some more flash goodness, but really, it’s cold out there!

Perhaps tomorrow in the sunlight. =)
