I went out walking tonight with this photo in mind.

I can see this clock tower from my room windows, which are unacceptable to take any photos through.

The tower has four clock faces, only one of which appears to be working and keeping time.

The building is lit with mercury vapor lamps, which cast a bluish/purple cast, and is topped by an open space which is lit to an aqua color.

Contrast that with the surrounding sodium vapor lights which bathe the streets with a distinctive copper/orange color.

A local fellow made the comment to me when he saw me taking the tower’s photo, that it was rumored to be turned into condominiums. At first, my reaction was yuck. He mentioned that being in a space with the four clock faces as walls would be really neat, “Like in those tv shows.”
